IR Remote ID Setup for iDVR-PRO 960H / H.264 CCTV DVRs
Follow these instructions to setup IR Remote ID for iDVR-PRO 960H / H.264 DVRs from CCTV Camera Pros. You can find the
960H iDVR-PRO CCTV DVRs here.
IR Remote ID Setup Instructions
The iDVR-PRO A, M, and H models can use the same IR remote control for multiple DVRs. This is especially useful when you have multiple DVRs at the same location and only want to use the remote on a single DVR at a time. In these instructions, we will be using a USB mouse as our DVR control option.
1. First, go to the
Menu icon in the lower left, then select Record Setup. (Shown Below)
2. Now, select
System, followed by Control Device, and then change the Remote Controller ID. You want this to be unique for each DVR. (Shown Below)
3. Once you have the IDs setup, refer to the IR Remote Control of the DVR. On the IR Remote Control, press the
ID button. On the DVR you will get a prompt to select the Remote ID. This will be set to the same ID you set for the DVRs Remote Control ID in Step 2. (NOTE: If you set the DVR to ID 1, enter 01 when prompted.) (Shown Below)

Complete CCTV Systems
Did you know? CCTV Camera Pros can provide a complete surveillance system quote that includes any iDVR-PRO model with cameras, cables, connectors, power supplies, and monitors? We can even mix and match SD and HD security cameras because the latest iDVR-PROs are hybrid. They work with CCTV, AHD, and HD-TVI type cameras. As you have probably already seen on our website, we have 2, 4, 8, and 16 camera surveillance systems in pre-made packages. However, it is not possible for us to package up every combination and quantity of all the different camera models that we carry. So, we can also provide you with a custom quote with as many cameras as you need and a mix of any combination of camera model(s) based on your project requirements.
