The Viewtron IP-C4 is a 4mp wireless IP camera with built-in IR night vision, PIR motion detector, and 2-way audio mic. This WIFI camera is design for indoor installation. It can be desktop, wall, or ceiling mounted. This camera can be hard wired using the PoE network port, or it can connect to a wireless network. Please note that in order to use WIFI mode, the camera still needs to be connected to a 12V DC power supply.
The built-in infrared LEDs provide IR illumination up to 10 meters / 30 feet. The fixed 2.1mm lens captures an ultra wide angle 137 degree field of view.
This IP camera is ONVIF compliant so that it can be used with any ONVIF compatible NVR or ONVIF compliant computer software. CCTV Camera Pros highly recommends using our

Installations
The IP-C4 can be ceiling mounted, wall mounted, or sit flat on a desktop / shelf.
Ceiling Installation
The below surveillance snapshots and video was captured with the IP-C4 installed at our demo ceiling mount location on our tech room. You will notice that the camera is installed upside-down. This is normal for the ceiling installation of this camera and is easily adjusted using the image flip function built into this camera.
Desktop Installation
When the Viewtron IP-C4 is used as a wireless security camera, desktop installation is very common. Once the wireless connection is configured, you can simply plug the camera into any power outlet and as long as it is within range of the wireless access point, it will automatically connect.

This surveillance snapshot was captured with the IP-C2 ceiling mounted in CCTV Camera Pros tech room. The IP-C2 was connected to a Viewtron NVR. Please take note of the ultra wide angle of view this camera provides. This room is 13 feet wide by 21 feet long.
Here is a snapshot captured with all of the lights off in the room, so that the camera's built-in night vision is engaged. You can see that the infrared capability of this camera is sufficient to illuminate this entire room and you can clearly see Mike's face. This room is 13 feet wide by 21 feet long.

View Your Security Cameras Remotely
The IP-C2 works great with
Viewtron hybrid security camera DVRs and Viewtron IP camera NVRs. Viewtron hybrids support BNC cameras and network IP cameras up to 4K resolution. Viewtron NVRs support IP cameras and have built-in power over Ethernet. The remote camera viewing apps are able to connect directly to Viewtron IP cameras and also to DVRs / NVRs.
PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e network cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CAT6 cable can also be used. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
