Recorded Video Playback Instructions for Viewtron DVRs / NVRs

Follow these instructions to learn how to playback recorded video surveillance footage on Viewtron CCTV DVRs and Viewtron IP camera NVRs. Please note that all of these instructions were captured directly from the Viewtron DVR / NVR and all of the navigation of the menus are done using the USB mouse connected directly to the DVR.

From the live view of the security camera that you want to play back video from, select the Playback option form the main menu in the lower left.

On the video playback screen, you will see a timeline on the right hand side of the screen. If you are using AI security cameras or have other types of alarm recording setup, you will also notice color coded event annotations on the timeline. Using the mouse, you can click anywhere on the timeline to start video playback from that point in time. You can also change the date of the timeline by clicking on the date in the upper right. If you want to hide the timeline and see the video full screen, you can click on the Full Screen icon in the lower left.

To exit video playback mode, click on the X in the lower right.
