Housing Installation

This outdoor housing is very easy to install. Follow these instructions to learn how to install a camera inside the housing.

Outdoor CCTV Camera Housing Mount

The top of the housing unlatches and opens upward. Installers can remove the camera mounting tray by pulling up on it. Box-style CCTV and IP cameras typically include screws and have pre-made screw threads that can be used to mount the camera to the tray. The tray simply pushes back into the housing via the rails that can be seen above. Those rails hold the camera tray securely in place but do allow you to slide the camera forward or back when sufficient pressure is applied.

Small Outdoor Security Camera Housing

After the camera is mounted inside the housing, this latch secures the lid. Installers can also add a small padlock to secure the camera if required.

Surveillance Camera Housing Bracket

Cables are fed through the cable grommet on the bottom of the housing. The bracket is attached to the housing using these pre-threaded screw holes. There are ventilation holes on the underside of the housing so that the electronics inside do not overheat.
