Camera Name & Date Live Display Setup
Follow these instructions to re-name your security cameras and enable the camera name and time / date display on the live view of your Viewtron DVR / NVR. These instructions are applicable to Viewtron
security camera DVRs and IP camera NVRs.
From the DVR / NVR main menu, select Settings. The select Manage Camera -> Edit Camera.
On the Edit Camera screen click on the edit pencil icon next to the security camera that you want to edit.
On the Edit Camera screen, change the name of the camera as you require. Then press OK.
Next, click on OSD settings under the Image menu on the left.
On the OSD Settings screen, you can choose to enable the camera name and date to appear in the live display of your cameras by selecting On for each camera. You can also choose your desired date format. When you are done, click Apply, then close this screen by clicking on the X in the upper right.
Now, when you have your DVR / NVR in the live security camera view, you will see the security camera name displayed on the upper left and the time / date displayed in the upper right hard corner of each camera view that you enabled.
