Mobile CMS is the Android CCTV camera viewer app for iDVR surveillance recorders. This video demonstrates how the app allows users to remotely login and view one or more DVR locations from any Android mobile phone or tablet.
In this video we'll use the MobileCMS app for Android to remotely connect to an eight channel IDVR and see a live view of the CCTV cameras that are connected to it. Let's get started.
I'm going to launch the app by tapping on the MobileCMS icon on the Android Nexus 7 that I'm using this demo. I zoom in the screen so all of you can see the camera view better. This app was pre-configured to connect to a DVR or office. We have instructions on how to set up the app in another video, as well as detailed instructions on our website.
I am changing from the single camera, four camera, and eight camera views by tapping on those grid icons at the top of the screen. I can navigate from camera to camera view by swiping my finger across the screen.
In our testing we have found that the MobileCMS for IDVR provides an outstanding experience to users, and we believe it is one of the best video surveillance apps available. The live video is extremely responsive and users can also access recorded video footage from the DVR, as well as receive push notifications when alarms are triggered. The IOS version of the app works equally as well and IDVR also supports live remote viewing and video playback from both Windows and Macintosh PCs.
We hope that this video was helpful in demonstrating the quality you can expect from the live remote viewing capability of the IDVR using the MobileCMS DVR viewer app for Android.
