The Vivotek IP8336W is an outdoor wireless IP cube camera capable of recording in a video resolution of 1280 x 800 at up to 30 frames per second. The 1/4", 1 Megapixel progressive CMOS image sensor and Fixed 3.6mm Lens provide a wide 56 degree horizontal angle of view.

The IP66 Outdoor Rated Housing protects the camera's vital components in harsh weather to ensure stable and reliable operation. This type of housing is very unique and is not usually available on an IP cube camera.

The camera is integrated with 802.11b/g/n wireless to make installation as easy as running power to the camera. The WPS feature on the camera makes the wireless configuration simple and straightforward.

The IP8336W does very well in low light environments with a Color Lux Rating of 0.47 and a Black and White Lux Rating of 0.001 Lux. A Removable IR Cut Filter ensures that the Infrared LED's do not affect the image quality when in B / W mode by blocking the infrared lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through. The IR illuminators have an effective range of up to 5 meters / 15 feet.

A Micro SD / SDHC card slot enables the user to record directly to the camera itself. A Built-in Microphone with an effective range of up to 5 meters / 15 feet further enhances the level of security by monitoring and recording audio.
