The Vivotek-IP8372 Weatherproof Network Bullet Camera can record at 10 frames per second in 2560 x 1920 (5 Megapixel) video resolution or at 30 frames per second in 1920 x 1080 video resolution. The Vivotek-IP8372 Weatherproof Network Bullet Camera features a 1/2.5", 5 Megapixel Progressive CMOS image sensor and a 3.79 - 9mm Varifocal lens.

The IP67 rated housing protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather conditions. A Cable Concealing Bracket protects the cable from being cut by vandals and provides a clean look when mounted. For low light situations, the IP8372 has an effective infrared range of up to 30 meters / 90 feet. Further enhancing the low light image quality is the Removable IR Cut Filter which works by blocking infrared lighting and only allowing visible light to pass through.

WDR Enhancement provides highly detailed image quality in environments with high contrast lighting. It works by taking the brightest part of the image and combining with the darkest part to capture an image comparable to that of the human eye.

A Smart Focus System allows the installer to remotely adjust the focal length of the lens by using a built in stepping motor. The built in stepping motor gives precise adjustment for hassle free setup and maintenance.

The Vivotek-IP8372 features an SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot to give the user the ability to record video clips and snapshots locally. This camera can be powered by either 12V-DC, 24V-AC or PoE 802.3af.
