The Vivotek-FD8137HV is a Vandal Resistant IP Dome Camera capable of recording in 1280 x 800 video resolution at a full 30 frames per second. The Vivotek-FD8137HV vandal resistant IP dome camera features a Fixed 3.6mm Lens and 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor.

For use in low light environments, the FD8137HV has built in Infrared LEDs with an effective range of 15 Meters / 45 Feet. Further enhancing the low light capabilities, a Removable IR Cut Filter blocks the infrared lighting and only enables visible light to pass through. The 3D Digital Noise Reduction Technology ensures that the image is clear in low light scenarios by reducing the amount of noise and graininess.

The IP66 / IK10 rated enclosure protects the cameras vital components from harsh weather conditions, dust and acts of vandalism. This ensures that the camera functions normally in outdoor environments.

The HD WDR Pro Enhancement feature is designed to work in environments with high contrast lighting conditions such as lobby entrances, parking lots and loading areas. It works by taking the brightest part of the image and combines it with the darkest part to create a realistic representation of the original scene, providing image quality close to the capabilities of the human eye.

The Vivotek-FD8137HV includes a Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot to allow the user to record video clips and snapshots locally. This camera is powered by POE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3af, providing both video and power over one Cat-5 cable. The Built-in Microphone gives the ability to record audio and has an effective capture range of 5 Meter / 15 Feet.
