Power Supply Box DC or AC
 Is a DC or AC power supply box the right choice for my security cameras? This is the topic of discussion for this question we received from a potential customer.

Customer: Can you explain to me which 18 camera power supply box I most
likely want? I'm not sure about the amp and volt differences.

Dear Customer,
The first thing that you need to know if whether your security cameras require DC or AC power. Most cameras that we sell are DC powered cameras. We do also carry some dual voltage security cameras which means that you can use either an AC or DC power source.
In regards to the amount of amps a power supply box supports, you have to look at how many amps your security cameras requires. For example, a 9 amp DC power supply box is capable of powering up to 18 .5 amp cameras.
