The cameras that are included in this system are the
DPRO-AS700 vandal dome IR dome infrared with 700TVL / 960H resolution. This dome camera is IP68 weatherproof rated which makes it a great choice for indoor or outdoor surveillance installations. This armor dome also provides outstanding IR night-vision in low light and total darkness. Using a 960H resolution camera with the 960H iDVR-PRO allows users to take advantage of the 960 x 480 widescreen format that this DVR supports. The DPRO-AS700 has a 2.8-12mm vari-focal lens which lets installers adjust the field of view / zoom level to the exact angle for any installation. The iDVR-PRO4A that is included with this system is capable of recording on all four video channels at 30 frames per second (real time recording), 120 FPS total. This is a stand alone / Linux embedded CCTV DVR. This system includes two cameras, which allows two free channels to add cameras for future expansion. If you plan on expanding your system to more than 4 cameras, you should consider upgrading to the 8 or 16 channel model DVR.
The iDVR-PROA series of security recorders include some of the best software applications to monitor and manage these systems from iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, and Macintosh devices. The user interface that is used to manage the DVR directly using the included mouse or wireless remote control is extremely intuitive and easy to use.

The latest Mac software supports 1080p resolution cameras. In addition to the Mac software, users can view security cameras live directly from a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari). CCTV Camera Pros highly recommends using the Mac software for remote viewing. The experience and video quality is much better than the web browser access.
