Description

The LN-2M50 is a 2 megapixel 5-50mm varifocal lens for box-style HD CCTV cameras (HD-SDI, AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI) and megapixel IP cameras. This lens works great on 720p and 1080p HD CCTV cameras. This lens is a CS mount type and has a DC drive auto iris. The 5-50mm varifocal range gives surveillance system installers the ability to adjust the field of view / zoom level of the camera between 58 and 6.5 degrees horizontal or 66 and 7.4 degrees diagonal.

This lens is included with our best selling HD-SDI box security camera. It is also included with this HD surveillance camera (720p AHD CCTV). Below are a few images that were captured using this lens on a the HD-BX7-5.

5mm Setting

This first images was captured with the lens adjusted to the 5mm setting (the widest view).

50mm Setting

In this image, the camera was mounted in the exact same location as 5mm angle image above. In this picture, the lanes was adjusted to the 50mm setting (actually we backed in out just a bit, so it is probably more like 45mm). The dumpster is located exactly 100 feet away from the camera. Click on the image for a larger view. You can see the text on the grabage dumpster clear at 100 feet away when the lens is zoomed in like this.
