The HD-ELT3 is a high definition 1080p / 2 megapixel elevator security camera that features a
ultra-wide angle 2.9mm lens and infrared night vision capability. This elevator camera supports three 1080p "HD-over-Coax" video modes: AHD, HD-TVI, and HDCVI. It also supports traditional standard definition analog CCTV video. The 4 supported video formats are selectable using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable.
This camera can be used with this optional
wireless video transmission system designed for elevator shafts.
The
ultra-wide angle lens allows the HD-ELT3 to be mounted in the corner of an elevator or small room and see the entire area. The built-in infrared LEDs of the HD-ELT3 can fully illuminate an elevator or small room even in zero light conditions. The front of the camera is crafted from metal to withstand impacts and acts of vandalism.

CCTV Camera Pros mounted the HD-ELT3 in the corner of one of our small office rooms. Although we did this mainly to test the wide angle view of the camera lens to make sure there are no blind spots in small elevators, we found that the camera looks quite nice when used as a corner mount in non-elevator surveillance applications.
Here is the location that we mounted it. This office is 9.5 feet by 11.5 feet.
Here are some surveillance images that we captured using that camera by connecting it to an
iDVR-PRO HD surveillance DVR. Notice how wide the angle of view is. There are no blind spots in the entire room (even right below the camera).

All of the lights are turned off in the office and the blinds were shut when we captured this image. The light coming through the blinds is much dimmer than it appears through the camera. The cameras infrared LEDs and night mode intensify even the slightest amount of ambient light. This camera will work in zero light.
The HD-ELT3 can be supplied with this
wireless video transmission system for elevator cameras.
Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Simply hold the joystick in any direction for 5 seconds to switch to that video mode.
