The following
video formats are selectable using the OSD joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Please note that "mp" stands for "megapixel".

This high definition lipstick security camera can provide a complete overview of small to medium-sized rooms. Please check out these

The IP66 weatherproof rated housing also make it a great choice to install outdoors. The tri-axis bracket allows installers to ceiling mount or wall mount the camera and angle the lens in any direction.
The 5MP-BL52 is a BNC security camera type which means that it is hard wired to a security DVR using
RG59 Siamese coaxial cable or pre-made BNC security camera cable. This is the same type cable that is used to install standard definition analog CCTV cameras.

This video demo was recorded at 4k resolution. Although this is a 5mp camera, the DVR that it was connected to supports 4K video. This slightly stretches the 5mp video into 4k resolution which works out quite well.
If you are viewing on a 4k video monitor, please be sure to select 4K video resolution in the YouTube player after the video starts playing by clicking on the gear icon in the lower right.
The above image was captured with the 5MP-BL52 recording to an CCTV DVR at 4k resolution. Although this is a 5 megapixel security camera, the image is stretched by the DVR to record at full 4k resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). If you click on the image, the full 4K resolution photo will open.
The camera is mounted in a medium sized room at CCTV Camera Pros office in West Palm Beach, Florida. This room is 29 feet wide by 16 feet deep. You can see that the large image sensor of this camera and the 3.6mm lens provide a wide angle view of this entire room.
iPhone App Remote Camera View
In our testing, we connected our 5MP-BL52 to an
CCTV Hybrid DVR. In addition to providing an excellent recording platform, the iDVR-PRO lets users log in over the Internet to remote view their security cameras from iPhone.
Android Mobile App Remote Camera View
These images were captured while using the
mobile camera viewer app for Android. The camera is still connected to the iDVR-PRO at our office and we are accessing the DVR using WIFI on our demo network. This works the same as viewing the camera from remotely over the Internet.

Lipstick Camera Installation

An optional
BNC to HDMI converter can be ordered with this camera. The converter allows you to connect your security camera to a TV via the HDMI input of your TV. In addition to the BNC video input on the converter, there is also a BNC loop output so that you can connect the camera to a DVR in addition to a TV / monitor. The BNC loop output is optional to use.
This device can be used solely as a way to connect your security camera to a TV for a live view only or you can also use the BNC output to also connect the camera's video to a second device, such as a DVR for recording video surveillance footage. You can see this in the above installation diagram.
Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Please note that in order to use navigate the menu system of the camera using this joystick, the camera must be connected to a monitor. Most installers use one of our AHD compatible test monitors to adjust the video setting. If you do not have a test monitor, CCTV Camera Pros can set the video output to the setting that you require. The default video setting of this camera is 5 megapixel AHD.

The joystick is attached to the RCA like connector on the camera's cable. After installation, the joystick can be removed or left in place.
How-to Change Video Output
To change the video output mode of the 5MP-BL25, attach the joystick to the RCA connector of the camera. Press straight down on the joystick and the main menu will display (as seen above).
Using the joystick's up and down, navigate to the Output Mode and press down.
On the Output Mode screen select the desired format and resolution, then select Apply Set and press the joystick in. Last, select Return and Save.
