The below product review video shows what comes in the box with the 2.5" held-held CCTV monitor and also demostrates its use when connected to a DPRO-B24DHR infrared CCD camera.

DC Power Output for Cameras

The DC power output allows installers to mount and focus cameras without a dedicated power source in place. This is very handy for construction sites where electricians are running power. Low voltage installers can begin mounting and focusing cameras without relying on electricians to finish wiring power.

3 of 5 Works Great, but somewhat delicate September 8, 2014
Reviewer: Installer from GA United States
I used this for the first time to install 32 cameras in a warehouse.  This monitor made it possible to preset the cameras to a 3X shot, fully focused right out of the box.  We placed the camera and were able to get 90% perfect without someone at the other end.
If you work by yourself, this saves a lot of time.
The housing is plastic which may not hold up under constant use, the BNC connector came loose and was of concern.  The test lead consists of a tiny gauge power lead with connectors and mini-coax with BNCs.  The LCD screen is just big enough to get a rough idea of what your shot is, but does not provide enough detail in some cases.  I will go for a 4.3 or 5 in. screen the next time.

Since it costs $150 (advertised price plus "handling") plus shipping, it would have to save at least three hours (labor rate) to break even.  So far it has save me about an hour.  However, if you are a one man team, it pays for itself in one day.

5 of 5 Built in DC power output is handy September 8, 2014

I find the DC power output of this monitor handy to test cameras before going through the trouble of connecting the permanent power supply. The 2.5" monitor is small but quite clear.
