The BIPRO-S700VF50 is a night vision CCTV camera featuring a 1/2.9" Sony progressive scan CMOS image sensor and 4 selectable video modes. In
AHD, HD-TVI, and HDCVI mode, the BIPRO-S700VF50 records in 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution, and in CVBS mode, it records in 960H (960 x 480) resolution.
Installers can easily switch the video output between CVBS and HD by using the dip switches connected to the camera's cable harness.

The BIPRO-S700VF50 offers superior low light performance as low as 0.01 LUX before using the built-in infrared LEDs.
4 high-powered IR LEDs deliver an infrared illumination distance of up to 200 feet in zero light conditions. An outdoor IP66 rated weatherproof housing protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, and impact. In addition to the impact-resistant housing, the cable-through bracket encloses the cable and prevents it from being cut or damaged.
Furthermore, this camera is equipped with a
motorized 5mm - 50mm (10x optical zoom) lens, allowing the installer to adjust the horizontal angle of view between 7 and 63 degrees. Because the lens is motorized, the angle of view can be adjusted via the OSD joystick or from the interface of an "Up the Coax" compliant DVR.
"Up the Coax", also known as Coaxatron, is a transmission protocol that sends commands to the camera via the RG-59/RG6 coaxial video cable rather than running an additional cable for the controls. The advantage of the motorized lens is that the user does not have to go to where the camera is to adjust the lens and the lens can be zoomed in remotely from a compatible DVR, such as the
iDVR-PRO series,
to see an object in the distance.
A few more features of the S700 include 2D/3D digital noise reduction, backlight compensation, and
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) enhancement. WDR is a vital feature to have when there are challenging lighting conditions, such as a bright light shining through an entranceway. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create an image similar to that of the human eye. All of these features can be controlled via the OSD (On-Screen Display) joystick connected to the camera's harness or "Up the Coax."
