The Vivotek IB8360-W has an HD recording resolution of
1920 x 1080 (1080P) at up to 30 frames per second.
An IP66 outdoor rated enclosure protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, and temperatures as low as -4°F. A cable concealing bracket completely encloses the cable and prevents it from being cut or tampered with. This is especially useful in areas that are highly trafficked.
For use in low light environments, the IB8360-W has a Color lux rating of 0.1 and a Black & White lux rating of 0.01. If the lux rating drops below the 0.01, the Built-in IR LEDs activate and provide an effective illumination range of 12 meters / 39 feet. The Smart IR technology alters the intensity of LEDs when objects pass so that the LEDs do not reflect off the object and cause the image to whiteout.
A Removable IR Cut Filter blocks any unusable infrared lighting that may affect the image clarity and only allows the visible light to pass through.
A Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot allows for the local storage of video clips and snapshots. The WDR Enhancement feature is designed for environments with bright and/or dark backlighting. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed image similar to that created by the human eye.
Like all Vivotek IP cameras, the IB8360-W includes a 32 channel central management software that can be installed on a Windows PC and be used to manage up to 32 cameras.

This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
