The Vivotek FD8166 is a mini IP dome camera capable of recording in 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution at up to 15 frames per second with a 2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor. The Vivotek FD8166 mini IP dome camera has an ultra compact housing design of only three and a half inches in diameter. It comes with a fixed 2.5mm lens to provide a wide angle of view.

Users can record video clips and snapshots locally by using the Micro SD / SDHC card slot. To reduce file size and conserve bandwidth this camera uses the H.264 video codec, a standard in video surveillance today. The built-in microphone has an effective range of 5 meters or 16 feet.

The Vivotek-FD8166 can be remotely accessed through a PC web browser or 3GPP mobile device, giving the user the ability to access and view live video footage from the camera anytime during the day. This camera is powered using POE 802.3af, making installation and cable management an easy task by allowing both data and power to be run over a single Cat-5E cable. It is available in both a black or white base.

The Vivotek-FD8166 includes a 32 channel central management software that can be used to monitor and record up to 32 Vivotek IP Surveillance Cameras. This camera is ideal for securing most indoor applications.

PoE for IP Camera
