The Geovision GV-MFDC1501 is an Mini Fixed Dome Cloud Camera that features a
fixed 2.8mm lens and motion recording of 1280 x 720 resolution at a full 30 frames per second. The Geovision GV-MFDC1501 records directly to the Geovision cloud storage database and can be easily accessed through iPhone, Android and PC. The live video stream can also be stream directly to YouTube and UStream, allowing the user to embed it into a website with ease.
In order to use the Geovision Cloud Storage, there is a monthly fee that starts at $8.99 for 7 days of storage and goes up to $24.99 for 30 days of storage per camera. The monthly fees are managed through PayPal and setup takes a matter of minutes. Please Note: This camera will not work without the cloud storage subscription and it is recommend that you read the information here prior to purchasing this camera.
The GV-MFDC1501 features a low light
lux rating of 0.01, providing an exceptional low light image. The 3D Digital Noise Reduction feature works by reducing the amount of noise (graininess) in the image, enhancing the overall picture. This is especially useful for low light recording.
The
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement feature allows the camera to capture highly detailed video in environments with challenging lighting conditions such as bright or dark background lighting. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one balanced image, similar to that of the human eye.
This camera can be powered by an included
5V power supply or by POE 802.3af, allowing for both data and power to be run over a single Cat-5 cable. The Geovision GV-MFDC1501 is the ideal cloud based solution for indoor low light environments.
