The Geovision GV-VD1540 is an infrared dome IP camera with 1.3 megapixel resolution (1280 x 1024) at up to 30 frames per second (Demo Video). The Geovision GV-VD1540 includes a Motorized 3 ~ 9mm lens and 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor for exceptional image quality. With the motorized lens, the user is able to zoom in up to 3x and adjust the angle of view remotely from the camera's interface.

The GV-VD1540 features a IK10+ / IP67 rated housing to protect the vital components of the camera from acts of vandalism as well as harsh weather conditions. A tri-axis mounting mechanism allows the user to manually pan, tilt and roll the camera to get the perfect viewing angle for their application.

This camera is designed for low light environments with a lux rating of 0.01 in both Color and B/W mode without the use of infrared. Below 0.01 lux, the Infrared LEDs activate and provide an effective range of 30 meters / 90 feet.

The WDR feature helps to provide clear high quality images in environments with challenging lighting conditions, such as bright back-lighting. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one highly detailed image.

To further enhance the low light capabilities, the GV-VD1540 features a Removable IR Cut Filter, which blocks infrared lighting and only allows visible light to pass through.

The GV-VD1540 can be powered by either 12V-DC, 24V-AC or POE 802.3AT (Power over Ethernet) and includes a Micro SD Card Slot for local storage recording. Like all Geovision cameras, the GV-VD1540 includes a 32 channel NVR software license for recording and playback.
