The Vivotek FD9167-HT is an indoor network dome IP camera with a recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 at up to 30 frames per second. The Vivotek FD9167-HT it comes equipped with a 2 Megapixel Progressive CMOS image sensor together with a 2.8~12mm varifocal lens. This allows the user to adjust the horizontal angle of view from 33° to 97°.

Built-in infrared illuminators have an effective range of 30 meters / 98 feet, enabling the camera to record around the clock in low or no light environments. The Smart IR technology used on this camera prevents the image from being overexposed by altering the intensity of the IR LEDs as objects move within the focal range of the camera.

To provide the most clear images possible, the 3D Digital Noise Reduction helps to reduce the graininess of the image. This is especially useful when the camera is in black and white mode with the IR LEDs activated.

The H.265 video compression requires less storage capacity while recording. In addition, the new compression also consumes less bandwidth when viewed remotely. When paired with the Smart Stream III technology, the H.265 video compression has been shown to reduce both storage and bandwidth consumption by as much as 90% over H.264.

A Built-in Microphone records audio in addition to video to further enhance the level of security in the camera's environment.

The WDR Pro Enhancement feature provides highly detailed image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest to create an image similar to that produced by the human eye.

A PIR Sensor detects motion without numerous false alarms like most IP cameras. It works by sensing the actual motion of a person or large object rather than pixel changes in the image.
