The Viewtron IP-D8 is a 4K resolution IP dome camera with built-in IR night vision. This network IP camera is enclosed in a IP67 rated weatherproof dome housing so that it can be used for indoor and outdoor installations. The built-in IR LEDs provide infrared illumination up to 90 feet. The fixed 2.8mm lens captures provides a 110 degree field of view. The tri-axis turret dome allows installers to ceiling mount or wall mount the camera and angle the lens in any direction. This IP camera is ONVIF protocol compliant so that it can be used with any ONVIF compatible NVR.
This new generation IP-D8 now has a built-in audio surveillance microphone, dual LEDs (IR night vision & visible white alarm light), and AI software functions.
Viewtron dual LED security cameras can run in 3 modes: IR night vision only, white light / alarm light only, both. Watch this video to learn more and see how the camera's white alarm light automatically switches when a human is detected entering an intrusion zone.
The AI software built into this security camera supports human detection, car detection, and motor-vehicle detection (bicycles, scooters). This AI camera DOES NOT support face detection / facial recognition. Please refer to these

This security camera has dual LEDs: 2 infrared LEDs for night vision and 1 white floodlight LED for alarm intrusion. The infrared LEDs allow this camera to capture video surveillance in low-light and zero light. The IR night vision automatically engages when the light level falls below a certain level. The white LED acts as an alarm light / floodlight and is optional to use. The alarm light can automatically turn on when a human or automobile enters an intrusion zone or crosses a virtual trip wire. Please note that the white alarm light is optional to use. The camera supports 3 LED light modes.
- IR Night Vision Only - Camera automatically switches to black and white IR night vision mode in low light.
- White Alarm Floodlight Only - Camera does not switch to IR Night Vision mode. Stays color. White alarm light automatically turns on upon human detection and / or vehicle detection.
- Dual Mode - Camera switched to IR night vision mode in low light. When human or vehicle object detection occurs, IR night vision is turned off, white alarm light turns on, camera captures video surveillance in color. When object is no longer detection, IR night vision mode is re-engaged.

These are the three light models supported by Viewtron spotlight cameras.
- IR Night Vision Mode: The spotlight is disabled. The camera records video in black and white when light levels are low.
- Spotlight Camera Mode: The IR night vision is disabled. The spotlight turns on when light levels are low.
- Dual LED / Smart Supplemental Light Mode: IR night vision is enabled when light levels are low. When a human and / or vehicle is detected intruding, the spotlight turns on and the infrared mode is disabled. The camera records in color when the spotlight is on.
Watch this video to see how easy installation is with the camera's turret-style / eyeball style mount. Simply loosen the set screw at the base of the camera to point the camera lens in any direction. When you are done adjusting the angle, tighten the set screw. The camera is very sturdy and the set position will not move. The Allen wrench is included.
This is an IP67 rated security camera. The weatherproof housing provides 100% protection from dust and 100% protection from water intrusion. This camera can safely be installed outdoors in areas that have a extremely heavy rain and high humidity. It can also be installed in very cold climates and along ocean coasts where there is salt water in the air.

Here is a snapshot captured at night with the camera's built-in IR night vision. There is zero light at Mike's front door. The exterior light above Mike's doorway is broken and there is no ambient light either. This is a true zero light infrared example.

This IP camera is PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e network cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera.
