The Viewtron IP-B8 is a 4K resolution IP bullet camera with floodlight and IR night vision. This 4K IP camera is enclosed in a IP67 rated weatherproof bullet housing so that it can be used for indoor and outdoor installations. The built-in IR LEDs provide infrared illumination up to 120 feet. The fixed 2.8mm lens captures provides a 110 degree field of view. The tri-axis mount allows installers to ceiling mount or wall mount the camera and angle the lens in any direction. This IP camera is ONVIF protocol compliant so that it can be used with any ONVIF compatible NVR (3rd party manufacturer DVRs supported).
This new generation IP-B8 now has a built-in audio surveillance microphone, dual LEDs (IR night vision & visible white alarm light / floodlight), and AI software functions.

Junction Box Mount Option
The
VT-J302 security camera junction box is an optional installation mount for the IP-B8. There is a bottom and side cable inlet and the cable leads from your camera can neatly be concealed inside this weatherproof enclosure. When the bottom inlet is used, the inlet plug can be moved to the size inlet. This junction box can be used for ceiling or wall mount installations.
This security camera has dual LEDs: 2 infrared LEDs for night vision and 1 white light LED for alarm intrusion. The white LED acts as a floodlight. The infrared LEDs allow this camera to capture video surveillance in low-light and zero light. The IR night vision automatically engages when the light level falls below a certain level. The white LED acts as an alarm light and is optional to use. The alarm light can automatically turn on when a human or automobile enters an intrusion zone or crosses a virtual trip wire. Please note that the white alarm light is optional to use. The camera supports 3 LED light modes.
- IR Night Vision Only - Camera automatically switches to black and white IR night vision mode in low light.
- White Alarm Light Only - Camera does not switch to IR Night Vision mode. Stays color. White alarm light automatically turns on upon human detection and / or vehicle detection.
- Dual Mode - Camera switched to IR night vision mode in low light. When human or vehicle object detection occurs, IR night vision is turned off, white alarm light turns on, camera captures video surveillance in color. When object is no longer detection, IR night vision mode is re-engaged.

Watch this video to see how easy installation is with the camera's tri-axis ball and socket joint style mount. Simply loosen the set ring at the base of the camera to point the camera lens in any direction. When you are done adjusting the angle, tighten the set ring. The camera is very sturdy and the set position will not move.

The 3.6mm lens provides a nice wide angle of view. This bullet IP camera does a great job providing security to this area of our parking lot.
Night Time Surveillance
Our parking lot has a good amount of lights that are on at night. As you can see, the camera does not switch to IR night vision mode at this location. It is fairly typical for parking lots to have lighting like you see here.
For reference, the sidewalk in front of our office building is 62 feet wide.

Mobile App Viewing
This is the IP-B8 camera remote view from the Viewtron iPhone app. The iPhone app is included for free and lets users connect directly to their IP camera without using a DVR. The app can also connect to Viewtron DVRs / NVRs to view many cameras. The Android mobile app looks and acts exactly the same as the iPhone app.
Here is a snapshot of the digital zoom feature of the mobile app. Images can be zoomed in / out of using by pinching and stretching the screen on iPhone and Android.
View Your Security Cameras Remotely
The IP-D8 works great with
Viewtron hybrid security camera DVRs and Viewtron IP camera NVRs. Viewtron hybrids support BNC cameras and network IP cameras up to 4K resolution. Viewtron NVRs support IP cameras and have built-in power over Ethernet. The remote camera viewing apps are able to connect directly to Viewtron IP cameras and also to DVRs / NVRs.
PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e network cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CAT6 cable can also be used. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.

This is an IP67 rated security camera. The weatherproof housing provides 100% protection from dust and 100% protection from water intrusion. This camera can safely be installed outdoors in areas that have a extremely heavy rain and high humidity.
