How to get a snapshot image from your Viewtron IP camera or Viewtron NVR / DVR via URL.
Image Snapshot Overview
Viewtron IP cameras have a URL that you can get a current JPEG image snapshot from. Viewtron security camera DVRs and IP camera NVRs also support the ability to get a snapshot image from any camera connected to them. Here is the URL format. The first URL is for IP cameras. The second URL is the DVRs and NVRs.
http://admin:123456@192.168.0.42/GetSnapshothttp://admin:123456@192.168.0.42/GetSnapshot/1
Please note that the number on the end of the URL for DVRs and NVRs specifies the channel number of the camera you are requested the image from. So /1 refers to the security camera connected to channel 1 on the DVR / NVR. "admin" is the default user ID. "123456" is the default password.
