The Vivotek FD8373-EHV is a high contrast dome IP camera featuring a recording resolution of
2048 x 1536 at 20 frames per second or 1920 x 1080 at a full 30 frames per second. The Vivotek FD8373-EHV utilizes a 3 megapixel CMOS image sensor for HD image quality.
With a
2.8 ~ 12mm varifocal P-Iris lens, the horizontal angle of view can be adjusted from 29.7° ~ 82.6° for use in a variety of applications. The P-Iris lens controls the iris with extreme precision using a built-in stepping motor. An IP66 / IK10 rated outdoor housing protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity and acts of vandalism. A Built-in Heater allows the camera to withstand temperatures ranging from -58°F ~ 122°F (-4°F ~ 122°F with POE).
For use in low light environments, the FD8373-EHV has
built-in infrared illuminators with an effective range of up to 20 meters / 60 feet. A Removable IR Cut Filter blocks any unusable infrared lighting and only allows the visible light to pass through, enhancing the image quality.
The
WDR Enhancement feature enhances image quality in environments with high contrast lightning such as bright or dark back lighting. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create an image close to that of the original scene. Further enhancing the image quality is the 3D Digital Noise Reduction, which reduces the amount of graininess in the image and improves clarity.
A few more features of the FD8373-EHV include a
Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot for local recording, audio in / out ports for two way audio support and POE 802.3af compliance. Also included is a 32 channel software license for camera management and recording.

PoE for IP Camera
