The Geovision GV-FER3402 is a Outdoor 360 Security Camera featuring a
3 megapixel,
1.19mm fixed iris lens with a 1/3.2" progressive scan CMOS sensor. The Geovision GV-FER3402 features high resolution recording of
2048 x 1536 at 15 FPS (frames per second).
The Fisheye style lens allows the user to view a full 360° at all times using a single camera. In addition to a 360° view, users can choose to have a dual 180° degree view, single view and quad view (
Viewing Modes). This camera does fairly well in low light environments with a color lux rating of
0.08 lux and a B/W lux rating of
0.05 lux.
The
IP67 Weatherproof Rated Enclosure protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather conditions, humidity and temperatures as high as 122°F.
Further enhancing the image quality of the camera is the WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Pro Enhancement feature.
WDR Pro Enhancement takes the brightest part of the image and combines it with the darkest to create one balanced, highly detailed image. This feature is especially useful in environments with challenging lighting conditions.
A
Built-in Speaker and Microphone provides two way audio support, further enhancing the security. The GV-FER3402 can be powered by
12V-DC,
24V-AC or
POE (POE 802.3af). The
Micro SD / SDHC Card Slot allows the user to record video clips and snapshots locally.
The Geovision GV-FER3402 has a single video stream of either H.264 or MJPEG. It can be mounted in various positions such as ceiling or wall mount (
Mounting Positions).
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
