CCTV Video Splitter Amplifier

The AMP-1002 is a CCTV video amplifier and splitter. This amp has one BNC video input and two BNC video outputs. This amp enables surveillance system installers to run two closed-circuit television video signals up to 3000 feet using RG59 coaxial cable. This video will demonstrate how to connect this device to a CCTV camera. Here you can see the video input and two video outputs. One the top of the amp, there are control knobs to adjust the brightness & sharpness of the video signal. A DC power adapter is included in with the amp and easily plugs into the front of the unit. Here I will use an RG59 coax cable to connect a CCTV camera to the input of the amp. A second RG-59 cable is connected to one of the outputs of the amp. A third RG59 could be connected to the 2nd output of the amp and each video output could be run up to 3000 feet and connected to an input device such as a surveillance DVR or monitor.
