iDVR CCTV DVR Time / Date Setup for iDVR-E Surveillance DVRs
Follow these instructions to setup the time and date on the iDVR-E Stand Alone Hybrid DVR. The
iDVR-E CCTV Security DVR can be seen here. You can also watch a video that demonstrates the time / date setup here.
Important Note: these instructions were documented by using the USB mouse that is included with the DVR. Users can also use the wireless infrared remote control that is also included to navigate the menu system of the DVR.
Date / Time Setup
First the recording of the DVR has to be disabled, this can be done by clicking the
Red Record Circle on the left side of the task bar at the bottom. You will then be prompted to enter the DVR password, "000000" (zeros) by default. (Shown Below)
Now press the right click button on the mouse to access the
Main Menu. Then select the Setup icon. (Shown Below)
On the
Setup menu, select the Display icon. (Shown Below)
Now in the
Display menu, under the Time tab, you will be able to adjust the Date and Time. You can also set the Time Zone and Date Format. It does have the option for a NTP Server, however it is not covered in this article. Once you have the correct settings, press the Save button in the lower right. (Shown Below)
