Password Reset for iDVR-E CCTV Surveillance DVRs

Follow these instructions to reset the password on the iDVR-E CCTV DVRs (hybrid SD / HD surveillance camera models). The iDVR-E CCTV Security DVR can be seen here.

Password Reset Using the Infrared Remote Control

1. On the included Infrared Remote Control, enter the following sequence: Down - Down - Down - Down and then hold the Menu button for 10 seconds. A message will appear confirming that the password has been reset to the default of "000000" (Zeros). (Shown Below)

Password Reset Using a USB Mouse

1. First, Left Click the User icon and Hold it for 10 seconds. Then while still holding the left click button, drag the cursor over the Time Section and release. If done correctly, a message will appear stating that the password has been reset to the default of "000000" (Zeros). (Shown Below)
