The 100VP is a 100-foot pre-made Siamese cable with BNC connectors for analog CCTV Cameras and HD security cameras. This Siamese BNC cable is sometimes referred to as a plug and play cable for security cameras because it is so simple to use. Watch this video to see how easy installation is.
The 100VP will work with any analog CCTV camera that uses a BNC video connector and 2.1mm power plug. For cameras that do not use a power plug and instead of a positive and negative terminal block or if you are using a power supply box instead of an individual power supply, installers can attach a PT-3 power lead or PT-4 power lead to convert the power plug to two individual wires. The 100VP is compatible with analog CCTV, AHD, HD-TVI, HDCVI, and HD-SDI cameras. These cables have been tested and work with analog CCTV cameras (CIF, D1, 960H resolutions). They have also been tested and work with HD-over-Coax security cameras in the following resolutions: 720p, 1080p / 2MP, 3MP, 4MP, 5MP, 8MP / 4K.
These pre-made cables will simplify your surveillance system installation by eliminating the need to cut cables and crimp the ends on yourself. If you need to extend the distance of your cable, you can connect two or more pre-made cables together by using an
BNC double female connector (not included).
Because the power portion of the cable is male on one end and female on the other, there is no additional connector needed to connect the power portion of two cables together.
Please note that we DO NOT recommend linking several cables together to create cable long runs longer than 250 feet. This may result in poor or dropped image quality. For cable runs longer than 250 feet, CCTV Camera Pros highly recommends using a spool of Siamese coax cable. We also supply the needed connectors and tools required to cut Siamese cable and crimp BNC connector ends on. Please see our CCTV Tools page here.
