The HD-TVI cameras on this page are all dual voltage which means they can be powered by a 12V DC or 24VAC power source. Dual voltage security cameras exist to give installers the option to use a 24VAC power supply instead of the more typical 12V DC. Generally, installers can run power cable a longer distance using 24VAC because the voltage does not drop as quickly as 12 DC.
