The 4MP-B180 is 180 degree security camera with built-in infrared night vision. This 180 camera is enclosed in a IP66 rated weatherproof housing so that it can be used for indoor and
outdoor surveillance installation. The built-in 24 infrared LEDs allow this camera to capture video in normal light, low light, and zero light. The fixed 2.5mm 180 lens captures an effective 172-degree effective range with no fisheye / warped image. The tri-axis bracket allows installers to ceiling mount or wall mount the camera and angle the lens in any direction.
The 4MP-B180 is a hybrid analog CCTV / 4 megapixel HD security camera. This means that it can be used with older analog CCTV DVRs in analog CVBS mode, as well as the latest
HD security camera DVRs that support 4MP cameras in HD-TVI, AHD, and HD-CVI modes. Installers can select the following video formats using the OSD joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable.

This camera is typically connected to a surveillance DVR by hard wiring it using the same RG-59 or RG6 coaxial cable that is used for analog CCTV cameras.
If you do not need to record video and would like to connect this camera directly to a TV / HDMI monitor for live view only, a
BNC to HDMI converter add-on option is available with this camera.

The above image was captured with the 4MP-B180 running in 4 megapixel HD-TVI mode. The camera is hard wired to an
iDVR-PRO 4K security camera DVR. The video surveillance footage that this still image was captured from was recorded at 4K resolution. If you click on the image, you can see the full 4K UHD resolution.
Here is some perspective on the ultra wide angle of view this camera provides. The width of view at the sidewalk in front of the house is 65 feet. The first side walk is 30 feet away from where the camera is mounted. The width of view at the sidewalk across the house is 300 feet. That sidewalk is 75 feet away from where the camera is mounted. Please note that people and objects appear distant across the street. You will not be able to identify faces at that distance, but the camera does capture what is going on.
Here a picture that shows how the 4MP-B180 was installed at Mike's home. The camera is mounted to an electrical junction box above the garage door.
Here is a close-up of the installation. Please note that using the grey PVC junction box is optional. We used this at Mike's house to make it easy to switch out cameras fairly often. This makes it easier to perform QA testing and video demonstrations with all of our products.

The above video surveillance snapshot was captured while recording at about 10 PM at night. Please note that this is a low light surveillance test (not zero light). There is some lighting in front of this house and there also a street light to the left of the lot. However, this is a very practical example for customers to see because a lot of times this camera is used in areas that are low light, like this one. You can see that the camera enables it's IR night vision mode in low light and captures a clear black and white image.

iDVR-PRO 4K surveillance DVR. In addition to providing a recording platform, the iDVR-PRO lets users log in from remotely over the Internet to view their security cameras live. The below image was captured while viewing the camera from the iDVR-PRO remote camera viewing iPhone app.

An optional
BNC to HDMI converter can be ordered with this camera. The converter allows you to connect your security camera to a TV via the HDMI input of your TV. In addition to the BNC video input on the converter, there is also a BNC loop output so that you can connect the camera to a HD CCTV DVR in addition to a TV / monitor. The BNC loop output is optional to use.
This device can be used solely as a way to connect your security camera to a TV for a live view only or you can also use the BNC output to also connect the camera's video to a second device, such as a DVR for recording video surveillance footage. You can see this in the above installation diagram.
1080p / 2MP Compatible Version

AHD-BL25 180 degree camera. The AHD-BL25 is the 1080p / 2 megapixel version of our 180 bullet camera. If you have a 1080p resolution DVR that is compatible with AHD, HD-TVI, or HD-CVI video formats, but not 4mp, the AHD-B:25 is the version that you need.
