The Geovision GV-CA120 is a
1.3 megapixel IP cube camera that features 1280 x 1024 resolution recording at a full 30 frames per second; a 3.35mm fixed lens and 1/2.5" CMOS image sensor which provide the user with high image quality with a wide (86 degree) viewing angle (Demo Video).
The
WDR Enhancement feature takes the brightest part of the image and the darkest part of the image and combines them to produce one balanced image. The GV-CA120 has white light illuminators (flashlight like) with an effective range of 5 meters / 16 feet to maintain visibility is very low light environments.
The Geovision GV-CA120 has a built in
PIR motion detector that can be configured to set off an alarm when motion is detected. Because the Geovision GV-120 camera includes the PIR motion detector hardware, it will deliver a higher caliber of motion detection than the more commonly used software models.
This camera supports two way audio with the built in speaker and microphone. The Geovision GV-CA120 Camera also makes it possible to record video clips and snapshots locally on the camera using the Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot (card not included).
Dual video streams of H.264 or MJPEG are supported. Like all Geovision IP cameras, the GV-CA120 includes a free 32 channel IP license that is compatible with any Geovision IP camera. It can be remotely accessed by a number of devices such as iPhone, iPad, Android, PC and 3GPP mobile devices.
The Geovision GV-CA120 can be powered by either the included 5V-DC power supply or by Power over Ethernet (POE 802.3af).

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs.
Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices.

PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
