Features
Security Camera Cable with Audio
Audio, video, power security camera cables can be used with these microphones to easily run both the audio, video, and power centrally back to the DVR. See the below audio surveillance connection diagram for more information. The length of cable attached to this microphone is 3 feet. This microphones frequency response range is 20~160,000Hz and requires a minimum 10mA DC input.
Installation
This is how to install this surveillance microphone using pre-made audio video power cables. ON the camera side of the pre-made cable, the male RCA on the cable connects to the female RCA on the microphone. The BNC connects to the video of the camera. The 2.1mm male power lead on the microphone connects to the the female lead on the per-made cable. The 2.1mm female lead on the microphone connects to the 2.1mm power input on the camera. This basically splits the power source so that power is shared between the camera and mic.
On the DVR side of the cable, the 2.1mm male connects to a 12V DC power transformer. The BNC connects to a video input on the DVR. The RCA cables connects to an RCA input on the DVR.
Be sure to check the
audio surveillance laws in your local area to make sure that it is legal to install microphones in the location that you are considering.
