The Geovision GV-FD1200 is an Indoor Fixed Network Dome Camera featuring a recording resolution of
1280 x 1024 at a full 30 frames per second. It features a 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS Image Sensor for high resolution image quality.
A Tri-Axis mechanism allows the installer to manually pan, tilt and roll the camera and the 3 ~ 9mm lens gives a wide range of viewing angles to choose from. The Intelligent IR feature enables the camera to continue recording in low or no light environments and has an effective range of 15 meters / 45 feet.
WDR Enhancement helps to provide highly detailed image quality in ultra bright or ultra dim environments. It works by taking the darkest part of the image and combining it with the brightest part to create one balanced and detailed image. Further enhancing the image quality is the Removable IR Cut Filter, which blocks the infrared lighting and only allows visible light to pass through.
The Geovision GV-FD1200 can be powered by 12V-DC, 24V-AC or Power over Ethernet (PoE). A Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot allows the camera to record video clips and snapshots locally. Remote viewing is possible from many platforms including PC, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs. Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices. PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
