The Geovision GV-MDR520 is a Geovision Dome IP Camera featuring a
fixed 5 megapixel lens with a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The Geovision GV-MDR520 dome IP camera is capable of supporting up to
10 FPS (Frames Per Second) at
2560 x 1920 high definition video resolution.
This camera can be mounted on a ceiling as well as on the surface of a wall (
Mounting Positions). The
IP66 and
IK7 rated enclosure allows the camera to withstand temperatures as low as -4 degrees farenheit in addition to offering exceptional vandal resistance. The
3 axis mechanism allows the user to easily adjust the camera's viewing angle for optimum coverage.
The Geovision GV-MDR520 features a built-in microphone to capture audio. Local camera storage is made possible by the
Micro SD/SDHC memory card slot (Class 6 and above). The Geovision GV-MDR520 supports dual video streams of each H.264, MPEG4 or MJPEG. It also supports
iPhone,
iPad,
Android and 3GPP mobile platforms for remote viewing capabilities.
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
