The HCPRO-420SC hidden fire sprinkler security camera is perfect for covert CCTV / "HD over coax" video surveillance applications. This 4-in-1 HD hidden sprinkler camera supports 800 TV lines of resolution (960H) in Analog CCTV mode and 1080p HD resolution in AHD, HDCVI, and HD-TVI modes. The
video modes are switchable using the small joystick that is attached to the video cable.
The 420SC also has a built-in audio surveillance microphone. The audio mic can be connected to an RCA or BNC audio input on a DVR.
A powerful OSD (on-screen display) allows the installer to adjust the settings of the camera to meet the needs of your specific installation. The 3.7mm pinhole lens is virtually undetectable and provides a 90-degree field of view. The HCPRO-420SC works great in low light down to .01 LUX (minimal ambient lighting).

This video demonstrates HD surveillance capability of the HCPRO-420SC. The camera was running in 1080p HD-TVI mode and connected to an iDVR-PRO DVR to capture the video.

The following surveillance snapshots were captured using an HCPRO-420SC connected to an
iDVR-PRO HD CCTV DVR. This is the 420SC that we have installed in a ceiling tile at CCTV Camera Pros office.
The camera monitors the main room where our surveillance techs work. This first picture was taken with all of the lights on in the room.
This second picture was taken with the lights off in the room to show the low light performance of the camera. The HCPRO-420SC does a good job in fairly low light. If you need a hidden camera that sees in ultra-low light or no light, we recommend this
hidden PIR camera with invisible infrared night vision.
This last picture was taken to show users what the OSD (on-screen display) menu looks like. The OSD allows users to fine-tune the settings of the camera specific to their installation environment. The OSD menu is activated and controlled using the small joystick that is attached to the camera cable.
Sprinkler Camera Installation
The HCPRO-420SC mounts easily to ceiling tiles and drywall ceilings. Please use the below diagram and product dimensions to plan your camera installation.
Sprinkler Cam Size
A customer asked us to take this picture so that he could visualize the size of this camera compared to a man's hand. Please note that only a portion of the sprinkler body is exposed below the ceiling or ceiling tiles when properly installed.
Installers can easily select between analog CCTV (CVBS) and HD-over-Coax (HD-TVI, AHD, HDCVI) video modes using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Simply hold the joystick in any direction for 5 seconds to switch to that video mode.
On Screen Display Controls
The HCPRO-420SC has a small joystick on the camera's cable that gives installers access to OSD settings. The on-screen display settings let installers adjust the camera's settings such as color, language, brightness, exposure, and day / night sensitivity settings so that it is perfect for the environment that it is being installed in.

An optional
BNC to HDMI converter can be ordered with this camera. The converter allows you to connect your security camera to a TV via the HDMI input of your TV. In addition to the BNC video input on the converter, there is also a BNC loop output so that you can connect the camera to a security camera DVR in addition to a TV / monitor. The BNC loop output is optional to use.
This device can be used solely as a way to connect your security camera to a TV for a live view only or you can also use the BNC output to also connect the camera's video to a second device, such as a DVR for recording video surveillance footage. You can see this in the above installation diagram.
This camera works great with
Viewtron security camera DVRs. Viewtron 4K CCTV DVRs are hybrid. They support analog CCTV cameras, HD BNC cameras, and network IP cameras up to 4K resolution.
